Costa Rica News – Near Morazan Park in San Jose, Teorética was used as an alternative art academy.
One home, there in Barrio Amon, was opened to four artists as an experiment to see what would become of it.
The results can be seen this Saturday at 4 pm at their open house, where you’ll have the chance to talk to the artists personally.
This program is part of a pilot plan from the Alter Academy. The idea was to support artistic creativity by allowing artists a space to live together.
In these residencies collaboration and community would take a huge part in the outcome of the art.
This type of arrangement challenges traditional limits and generates new ways of learning and exploration.
It’s a great experiment in alternative living and alternative art all at once.
