Costa Rica Entertainment – Al Di Meola’s wonderful music will sound at a concert in Costa Rica.
The famous jazz artist will be on stage to impress us all at Jazz Café Escazú on the 19th of this month at 9:30pm.
At his side will be the Hungarian Toth Bagi Csaba on percussion and the Italian Fausto Beccalossi on accordion.
The cost is much less than say a concert at the National Stadium, just ¢50,000.
You may remember the start of Al Di Meola’s career, when he was part of Return to Forever in 1974.
He has since combined jazz to fuse with the rock, Latin and world music genres. Di Meola has published more than 20 studio albums and collaborated with other important artists on more than 15 recordings.
This concert will be part of a Central American tour that includes stops in El Salvador and Panama. There won’t be an opening artist. The repertoire will be varied and include “stops” along his entire trajectory.
They will play their own songs as well as covers of songs by Astor Piazzolla, Paul McCartney and John Lennon.
