Adidas is the new official sponsor for Costa Rica soccer, for at least the next four years. They have just released the designs for the home and away jerseys and the details like price and where to buy them.
The shirts were unveiled at a special event. The first to show them off were Yeltsin Tejeda and Katherine Alvarado. The general director of Adidas and the president of Fedefútbol were at the unveiling too.
The price is ₡67,700, much higher than the last ones, which were by New Balance and cost ₡56,500. It’s not a very accessible price, but the price is linked to the level of the brand and the quality.
They can be purchased at www.adidas.com/cr and at a temporary store in Multiplaza Escazú, as of today. Starting February 6, they’ll be available on PLS and Sportline.
The away jersey is white with a nice gold collar. The Adidas stripes are black. The home one is an intense red with blue details. The Adidas stripes are white. The jerseys are elegant, comfortable, and made of a light, breathable material.
