Costa Rica News – Five tico kids are about to have the time of their lives, entering the field with the Sele for the World Cup game between the “Tricolor” and Brazil, to take place this Friday at 6 am (Costa Rican time).
Maripaz Gómez, Santiago Marín, Jafet Morera, Jahaira Cardoza and Julián Rodríguez are the lucky ones.
They were chosen in a variety of ways, by a contest at McDonald’s and through the Saprissa Foundation and its Valores Saprissa program.
They left for Russia on Tuesday and will return on the 24th of this month.
They’ll stay in St. Petersburg, the city hosting the World Cup, while there. This is the first time children will enter with the team.
