Costa Rica Entertainment News -Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Evancho has been bringing ecstasy to the ears of those who have had the pleasure of hearing her sing. In 2010, at the age of ten, her popularity exploded with her incredible performances on the 5th season of the America’s Got Talent.
You know you are talented when during the competition and performing at such a high level some commentators questioned whether her performance had been lip-synched. She proved them all wrong with an impromptu voice exercise on the next show to prove the range of her voice and confirm her talent.
Howie Mandel summed it up in an interview when asked about the lip-synching accusation, “”what people are … really saying [is] that it’s really too good to be true. You are so perfect and so wonderful that people have never heard a talent like this. … You’ve got to take that as a compliment. … Even if you don’t love that kind of music, you can’t deny that [it] is perfection.”
And that is what Jackie Evancho has provided anyone that has heard her sing……..perfection.
Four years after her rise to stardom on America’s Got Talent and her performance with her idol Sarah Brightman, Jackie Evancho is coming to Costa Rica. If you have the ability to go this concert it is a must attend.
Miss Evancho will share the stage with the Philharmonic Orchestra on November 24th, at 7 pm at the Real Intercontinental Hotel in Escazu. Special guest tenor Joaquín Yglesias will join her as a special guest.
The concert will be part of the BAC Special series, which in recent months has brought artists such as Michael Bolton, Ana Torroja, Carlos Vives y Jorge Celedón.
There are only about 900 tickets for this performance so you will need to act quickly. They go on sale Monday, through www.eticket.cr and authorized Servimás points of sale.
Tickets will cost ¢ 93,000 (about $180) for platinum level to ¢ 110,000 (about $200) diamond.
If you are not convinced to attend this concert yet, listen to the below and give your ears a taste of the beautiful voice of Jackie Evancho from her new album “Awakening”. I think she has one of the best voices of all time.
