Illuminated by security lighting for those evening strolls, the park is a modern marvel completed in phases since its opening in Autumn 2006. Yet, despite its contemporary charm, the park’s surroundings harbor tales as old as time, with the Sacramento River playing a central role in the area’s eerie reputation.
