With the World Cup starting, the social networks of Costa Rican soccer players are blowing up. We see how much they are enjoying it before it even starts. The trip to get there looked like a ton of fun.
The “Tricolor” has arrived in Qatar, and they showed us glimpses into their travels on their various social media accounts.
Keylor Navas and Joel Campbell are among the most experienced, being that this is their third World Cup. For Kendall Waston and Francisco Calvo, this is their second World Cup event. Perhaps it’s most exciting the first time around, like for the younger players, Anthony Hernández, Carlos Martínez and Anthony Contreras.
On social media, we saw so many pictures of the group on the plane from Kuwait to Qatar, which took about an hour. The team was undeniably happy to finally be so close to Qatari lands with hope of doing well in the competition.
