Britt is expanding its cafe model both inside and outside of Costa Rica. The company has already invested $2 million in opening 5 Britt Café & Bakery locations in the country. This will generate 70 jobs by the end of the year.
Next December locations to be added include the terminal area of Alajuela and Multiplaza Escazú. The investment is approximately $800,000. This chain caters to customers seeking coffee and chocolate products.
The company hopes to become a franchise that expands to other countries and continents. This would involve standardizing procedures and transferring the brand to a third party for established payments. Operators would be able to adapt the model to the local culture and needs. There have been requests from five continents. The company has the legal-contractual part ready, as well as the brand book, menu and standards.
In addition to the cafes, Britt develops, manufactures and markets products and offers Coffee Tours.
