Costa Rica Entertainment – There’s a new hotspot on Avenida Escazú called the AC Lounge. This is the ideal spot to share after work drinks with friends. It’s part of the AC Hotel and includes the AC Kitchen.
European cuisine with a strong Spanish accent is coupled with an elegant modern environment with the best views. Tapas are their specialty. Toast with tomato, olive oil and roasted garlic is a popular choice as is the smoked salmon with tapenade and dill.
There’s also a wide range of drinks and deserts available to complete the night. Catalan cream and nutella crepes with berry sauce are must trys. The Tamarindo shake also has a following. Craft wines and beers are available.
You can also get breakfast at the hotel from 6-10am. It’s a high demand hotel for business travelers during the week but there are specials for locals on the weekend. You can stay a night with breakfast included for $99.
From October 12 to 14, AC will participate in the gastronomic festival by bringing in chefs from Spain. It will include four classic appetizers, four main courses and five sweets. The cost is ¢21,000 per person. Reserve at 2588-4371 or [email protected].
