Costa Rica Sports – Keylor Navas and Real Madrid each have a wealth of options for the future. Both are sought after but it seems they want to stick together.
In fact, they are headed toward extending their contract for another two seasons.
Many clubs have asked for Navas but the Tico has his heart set in Madrid. The new strategist for Madrid feels the same, having told him “I have you in the plans.” Talk of an extended contract began before facing the World Cup.
The goalkeeper has a luxury advisor to keep him updated on offers and what should be included in contracts. He also still has a contractual relationship with Ricardo Cabañas, the agent that got him to Real Madrid. They advise him that teams must have a comprehensive vision of the player, not just as an athlete. Contracts often include representation, marketing, legal advice, specialized medical care, and support through various partners in fields like law and psychology.
Who knows if he will leave the team at some point but it would only be for very good economic reimbursement and to a team that is also at the highest European level.
