Costa Rica News – Puerto Rican native, Lynda Díaz, has made a name for herself in Costa Rica as a model and TV presenter. She underwent cosmetic surgery last Friday which resulted in some postoperative complications.
The hospital and family are keeping details confidential to respect her privacy.
What is known to the public is that it is a kidney problem and that they decided to transfer her to a private hospital, Clínica Bíblica, for access to an extended spectrum of examinations and treatment.
The family says that she is in intensive care but conscious, oriented, positive and hoping for the best outcome. If her doctor advises it, she may be transferred back to a public hospital.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons issued a press release stating their “obligation to investigate cases for alleged medical malpractice.” They will investigate “in accordance with current regulations.”
