Costa Rica Entertainment – Costa Rica receives a new animated series that hopes to influence and enhance the role of more women in science.
It’s called “Dot” and it’s brought to us by National Geographic.
The series is about the stories of Dot, an eight year old girl who dominates computers and teaches us about how technology is a great ally for kids. Dot solves problems and goes on adventures. She has fun with her friends and her dog and uses many technological tools to improve her gaming and explorations.
The series seeks to encourage girls to get into science and discover the wonder behind the branches of the field. It’s based on the children’s book by technology specialist and entrepreneur Randi Zukerberg. It brings entertainment and education.
Before the premiere, over 30 children welcomed the character at Cenat-Conare. They were the first to see the two episodes that start the series. The students then toured kiosks of the CENAT.
