Costa Rica Entertainment – The Regional Museum of San Ramon of UCR is hosting an impressive photographic exhibition that exalts the absolute beauty of insects we often don’t notice because of their tiny size.
The photographer, Mauricio Valverde, uses a technique called focus stacking in which he takes up to 200 photographs and stacks them into one image to create the clearest, most detailed image possible.
Some of these impressive insects are as small as the tip of a grain of rice.
We can now see the magic in their geometric patterns and structural wonder, usually missed by the human eye.
The exhibition will run until November 25th.
Visitors can observe 22 large-format photographs, each of which shows minute details, colors, and textures of the insects’ tiny features, what the artist calls “sacred geometry.”
