North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: Long period SW swell holds into Thursday before slowly trending down as some shorter period SW swell mixes in. Due to that mix, look for many exposed areas to show head high to overhead surf both Thursday and Friday with shape favoring the beachbreaks.
WEATHER/WIND: Light onshore wind in the morning, with building, moderate strength onshore S/SW wind for the afternoon Thursday. Lighter winds likely for Friday. Keep an eye on the Central America Hi Res Winds when planning your session.
Friday 10/27 – 4-5ft – shoulder to head high occ. 6ft – Long and short period SSW/SW swells. Light winds.
Saturday 10/28 – 3-5ft – waist to head high occ. 6ft – New SSW swell starts to build. Watching winds.

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the next few days. Light and variable west-southwest winds until Saturday and switching to the north-northwest. Very Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable south-southwest winds later and switching to the east-southeast.
Friday 10/27 – 1-2ft – Ankle to knee – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west winds and switching to the north-northwest.
Saturday 10/28 – 1-2ft – Ankle to knee – Very Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable southwest winds all day and switching to the east-southeast.
