FRIDAY: Old SSW-S swell leftovers mix with secondary long period SSW swell for fun-zone surf to end this week. Most size will be found Thursday with surf in the shoulder-head high range for most with good breaks seeing slightly overhead sets. Focal point still likely offer sets a couple feet overhead during favored tides. Smaller waist-shoulder high surf is due for Friday.
WEATHER/WIND: Diurnal pattern through Friday: light/variable flow in the mornings, before a light to moderate sea-breeze develops in the afternoon hours. Watch for winds to ease some by the evening hours, offering a potential window of opportunity before dark. Note – local thunderstorms are possible and will temporarily affect wind.
Friday 08/18 – 3-4ft+ waist to shoulder high – Modest mix of SSW and SW swell.
Saturday 08/19 – 3-4ft+ waist to shoulder high occ. 5ft – Modest blend of SW and SSW swell.

Friday 08/18 – 4-5ft – Shoulder to head – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west winds all day and switching to the northwest.
Saturday 08/19 – 2-3ft – Ankle to waist – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light west winds with a slight chop.
