There are going to be some fun sets rolling on the Pacific side & some larger overhead sets coming in on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. FRIDAY: New SSW swell slowly builds with fun size surf filling in over the afternoon in the knee-chest high range at exposed breaks. Top spots hit shoulder high by the end of the day.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable flow prevails in the mornings, winds trending light-light+ onshore as a sea-breeze develops each afternoon.
Friday 02/10 – 2-4ft – knee to shoulder high – New SSW swell due to rise in the PM, largest late.
Saturday 02/11 – 3-5ft – waist to head high – Fun SSW swell continues to fill in. Lightest/cleanest winds in AM.

Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light and variable southwest winds and switching to the east-northeast.
