Costa Rica Entertainment – It´s the 15th year that the Festival of Contemporary Dance will take place for 8 days in August, from the 21st through the 28th.
Two main locations were chosen; the Melico Salazar Theater and the Dance Theater, located at Centro Nacional de Cultura in San Jose.
There will be a total of 16 shows that were chosen from 34 propositions presented. Of the 9 chosen dance groups, 3 of them are national and the remaining 6 from other countries.
All the shows will be at 6 pm local time except the one on August 28th that will be at 8pm.
The festival producer, Ana Patricia Cambronero, made sure to have high quality choreographers from several countries such as Spain, Colombia and the USA, and also highly experienced award winners with several years of international experiencefor the judging panel.
Make sure to have room in your agenda and enjoy this 8 days of culture. The cost of the tickets will be 5000 colones, around $10, for each show and half the price for students and seniors.
