Two Texas high school football players were caught on camera barreling into a referee. School officials are calling the video “very disturbing.”
San Antonio Express News reports both players were ejected from Friday night’s game between John Jay High School and Marble Falls.
Video shows the official falling to the turf after the first hit, then another Jay player diving into the official, helmet first.
The players allegedly targeted the ref over a call that ejected two other Jay players on separate plays.
The district continues to investigate.
