Costa Rica News – (Surf Report August 14th to August 15th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our beautiful pictures of girls in bikinis. Are you ready for another great surfing weekend in Costa Rica? Expect some fun size waves coming in on both the Pacific side and the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.
North Costa Rica & Central Costa Rica & South Costa Rica Forecast for the Pacific
FRIDAY: South swell drops/levels off with shoulder high to 1-2′ overhead surf the norm while sets are a little overhead. Standouts do a little better, going 2-3’+ overhead on sets.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable wind in the early to mid mornings, before a light+ to moderate onshore sea-breeze gradually develops through the late morning into each afternoon. There’s a good chance for the wind to back off in the evenings for a clean-up before dark at many locations, especially the more sheltered/tucked away spots.
Friday 08/14 – 1.5-2.4m – Head high to 0.9 m overhead – Slow fading South swell.
Saturday 08/15 – 1.5-2.4m – Head high to 0.9 m overhead – Lingering S swell.

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling slightly during the next few days. Light and variable west-southwest winds until Saturday and switching to the north. Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the early part of next week. Light west winds, winds dropping rapidly later and switching to the northwest.
Friday 08/14– 0.9-1.2m – Knee to shoulder – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light and variable west winds all day and switching to the north.
Saturday 08/15 – 1.5-1.8m – Head high to 0.3m overhead – Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light west-southwest winds with a slight chop all day.
