Costa Rica Entertainment – Vanessa Williams, a famous American actress, is visiting Costa Rica.
The Immigration office reported that she arrived in the morning on July 9th via the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
This model and actress claimed the crown of Miss America in 1984. She was, in fact, the very first African American to get that title. She later had to give up the title because some nude photos of her appeared.
She has acted and modeled her whole life and is just as beautiful now at age 52.
She was featured in the movie Dance with Me in 1998 and more recently in Desperate Housewives.
She got married early this month to a retired accountant, Jim Skrip.
She is now enjoying our tropical country and it is unclear for how long she will stay or which parts of the country she might visit.
