Costa Rica Entertainment – Easter means “time to hit the beach” to many people.
A few days off from work has everyone leaving the city, including the local musical artists seeking opportunities to showcase their work to large crowds.
One group, Ojo de Buey, will have three presentations in the Pacific. On Thursday you can catch them at Patron’s in Dominical followed by Friday at Zion in Manuel Antonio and then Saturday at the Backyard in Playa Hermosa.
Their tour will then take them to Columbia, so try to see them while they’re still here. The shows are only around $8 to see so it’s a pretty good deal.
There are free musical events happening too.
In Coco Beach, Guanacaste the Italian reggae artist Alborosie will perform on Saturday in the exhibition area. DJ Jalamelule will play electronic music today through Saturday in Flamingo Beach.
Moove Fest will be happening at Itauna Ranch in Santa Teresa on Saturday.
