Who is ready for some overhead big wave surfing this weekend? This weekend have some big waves on both the Pacific side & the Caribbean side of Costa Rica where there are some big double overhead sets over the weekend. We have also added surf video from Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica.

FRIDAY: S-SSW swell holds in the morning with head high to several feet+ overhead waves at well exposed spots and larger sets for best breaks. Size eases during the day.
WEATHER/WIND: Light/variable to locally light offshore wind for the early to mid mornings for most areas, before a light+moderate onshore SW-W sea-breeze gradually develops into each afternoon. Most of the region will see partly cloudy/sunny skies each day. However, there is still a chance for occasional passing thunderstorms/showers.
Friday 03/13 – 1.5-2.4m – Head high to 0.9 m overhead – S-SSW swell holds in the AM. PM starts to ease.
Saturday 03/14 – 1.5-2.1m – Head high to 0.6 m overhead – S-SSW swell winds down, largest in the AM
