Costa Rica Health News – The Pediatric Cardiovascular Program at the National Children’s Hospital is about to be strengthened by a new partnership with the Johns Hopkins Hospital, which is located in Baltimore, Maryland.
This hospital sent three experts from their health center. Their chief of Cardiovascular Surgery, Chief of Anesthesia and Chief of Intensive Care met with the Costa Rican medical staff to share with them the latest knowledge regarding patient management for those with congenital heart disease.
The short visit was on Monday, and during this time they made it known that they would like to continue to support the work being done here in Costa Rica to improve the hospital’s service.
The children’s hospital is on board to accept this help and they have made a plan of commitment.
The international cooperation is being directed by Costa Rican Eduardo Da Cruz, Chief of the Pediatric Heart Institute of the Children’s Hospital in Colorado. He will send the next team of experts from Dallas to Costa Rica in December.
