Costa Rica Travel News – We’ve stumbled upon a great find that we’d like to share with all of you, one that can make your vacation dreams come true. Manuel Antonio Estates is a company that works in real estate and vacation rentals. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate your needs, plus the large rental home options are gorgeous and the area located near the Manuel Antonio National Park is full of activity.
Manuel Antonio Estates focuses on building vacation homes for clients within Manuel Antonio Estates and Palmas Pacifica. They take care of the details from permits and design to supervision of construction and management of the rentals, if needed.
Most of their homes are in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area and they have another option in the Central Valley. The large estate in Manuel Antonio has numerous homes to chose from, all within walking distance of the town’s shops and restaurants and just a few minutes to the best beaches and the famous national park. While the homes are secluded and hidden among the rainforest, the surrounding area offers adventures like ziplines, white water rafting, mangrove kayaking, horseback riding, whale watching, ATVing and sport fishing. The rental option in the prestigious Santa Ana town of San Jose is minutes from the CIMA Hospital, Multiplaza Mall and the International airport. All of the homes are available for short term rentals, have easily accessible parking, cable TV, internet and are fully furnished.
Besides the variety of homes to meet your needs, like budget and group size, it’s great to book with Manuel Antonio Estates because they provide so many extras. They have private hiking trails, housekeeping, pool maintenance, a guard 24-7, free wifi, the well known Raindrop Spa, a yoga studio, and, best of all, FREE concierge service to book all of your tours and recommend the best restaurants.
We got to see a number of the homes with our own eyes and feel the relaxation that comes from spending time in such a pretty, clean atmosphere and enjoying luxuries like a private pool and a soaker jacuzzi tub. We can assure you that the homes are in good condition, with all the furnishings, a BBQ area and all you need to cook. The views are what stand out the most. They had either rainforest views or ones with the mountains fading into the beautiful ocean. We saw monkeys playing around the deck from many of the homes. There is a large variety of birds and butterflies that pass by and can be observed from the private pools. With homes from two bedrooms to larger villas that can accommodate groups of up to 20 people for weddings and family reunions, Manuel Antonio Estates has something for every group. Let us give you a glimpse into what some of the rental homes offer.
Casa Peces is your best option in the city, just 15 minutes from the airport. It’s conveniently located by a world class mall, banks, restaurants and supermarkets. There are also private hospitals nearby, for those of you considering medical tourism. All you need to bring is your friends or family. The house has everything you could need and more for entertaining. Your guests will love watching the exotic fish from Asia in the various aquariums. The best part is that there is an indoor swimming pool. Around the pool you will find the outdoor patio, bar area, living and dining room and bedrooms. The open design layout is rejuvenating. On your way from the kitchen to the office, take a quick dip in the pool or relax in the hammock. Some of the best features are the tropical front garden, parking for 4 cars, and a sauna in the master bathroom. The home can fit 10 people on 5 double beds. There’s also a baby crib. Rates start at $1750 per week. Why stay at the hotel when you can have a whole home for a fraction of the cost. Plus, the maid will be happy to cook you a Costa Rican breakfast and help you with your laundry while you enjoy the capital.
Macaw is an airy villa that is more than inviting and cozy. The ambiance feels warm, because of the tone of the wood and the finely chosen decorations. This Bali inspired living space provides indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy. There’s even a mini kitchen outside by the pool and BBQ. This home is ideal for a small family or two couples hoping for a less expensive choice. There are 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. One bedroom has a king bed and a TV while the other features private access to a covered veranda. Both are air conditioned and have orthopedic mattresses. The hot water heater is solar powered, which all of you eco-friendly travelers will appreciate. Rates start at $1500 per week.
Cascada is the home for those of you who spend a lot of time outside, because it comes complete with a giant wrap-around porch enthroned in fruit trees and even outdoor showers. It feels heavenly to wake up surrounded by bamboo finishings- the ceiling is finely handmade with local bamboo- yet to have the convenience of granite countertops to prepare food on. The kitchen has it all (including a dishwasher!) but you’ll rarely use the kitchen since there’s a modern BBQ and seating area outside on the porch. To spend even more time outside, head down to your private pool. I enjoyed staying in the pool with jets while doing my laundry right next to it. There are 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and a closet. Rates start at $1800 a week.
Mot Mot is spread out over 2 stories and opens up entirely to the terrace, allowing tons of light and cool breezes in. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so it can accommodate 8-10 people. Additional beds are available if you have a larger group. There’s a TV with a DVD player, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer inside the villa. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. There’s a large terrace with a BBQ area and pool area where the whole family can enjoy watching the monkeys that come and visit. Rates start at $2,000 a week, and considering how large it is and how many guests it can hold, it’s one of the most affordable options.
Manakin is the largest home, with 8 air-conditioned bedrooms and even more bathrooms! It can be rented as a 3, 5 or 7 bedroom home, as well, due to the setup. There’s a 2 bedroom seperate suite, 3 rooms in the home and 3 located around it. This home could easily be used for a wedding party or a family reunion. There are spaces to eat together or talk over coffee at the large breakfast bar. It offers large groups the privacy they need. Families, couples or individuals can each have their own suite, some with private balconies and kitchens, or a room in the main home. 16 guests can be accommodated comfortably. The main home’s picture windows are incredible. This is the home with the ocean view from the pool. You will share the deck only with playful monkeys. If you want to invite human guests, there is a picnic style table that can fit many people. There are also nice rocking chairs. The price starts at $3,500 per week.
