Costa Rica Entertainment News – Heredia is showing it’s artistic side this week. Enjoy rich art & culture there this week.There’s currently a community art festival going in in which passers by might enjoy any number of creative presentations.
The festivities are to continue until Saturday, so you have plenty of time to stop by. You might enjoy a dramatic poetry reading or an exciting bout of choreography. Either way, you will be impressed.
50 artists are participating, including writers, actors, poets, musicians and dancers. The Concert Band from Heredia will be featured. Artistic legends from other countries are involved, too, like Julio Ceballos and Carlos Flores Lucas.
On Wednesday, there will be outdoor paintings and a band presentation. On Thursday, there’s the design fair at the cultural center, featuring 20 brands of accessories and clothing from Costa Rican designers.
There will also be a yoga class and dance night. Then on Friday there’s a free film at 3 and a presentation of folk dancing. The closing ceremony and farmers’ fair will be on Saturday.
