This weekend is fair on the Pacific side and the Caribbean is preparing for some big waves rolling in, you will be able to get some nice waves on both sides of Costa Rica this weekend. FRIDAY: SW swell peaks with waist-shoulder high surf at exposures.
WEATHER/WIND: For most areas, look for light/variable winds for the early mornings. Then a moderate SW seabreeze gradually develops over the mid to late morning hours and into each afternoon. Possible evening glass-off for some areas before dark. Chance of showers/thunderstorms in the PM.
Friday 04/11 – 0.9-1.2m+ waist to shoulder high – Modest size SW swell
Saturday 04/12– 0.9-1.2m – waist to chest high – SW swell eases

Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast rising later in the next few days. Light north winds with a slight chop, increasing rapidly later. Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast falling later in the early part of next week. Light northeast winds with a slight chop later.
Friday 04/11 – 2.1-2.4m – Head high to 1m overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast rising slightly later in the day. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop, Increasing later.
Saturday 04/12 – 2.8-3.1m – 1m overhead to double overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast falling slightly during the day. Breezy east-northeast winds, whitecapping conditions with moderate choppy seas all day.
