Costa Rica News – (Surf Report March 28th and March 29th) – We are going to give you the surf forecast for Costa Rica and we have our new Surf Girl of the Week in Costa Rica. This weekend is small on the Pacific side but a the Caribbean is looking at some 1 meter overhead sets coming in, so if you are looking for big waves head to the Carribbean side of CR. FRIDAY: Smaller leftovers from the SW with a touch of new S swell filling in. Most breaks drop down into the waist high and below range. Top spots are a little better.
WEATHER/WIND: For most areas, look for light/variable winds for the early mornings. Then a moderate SW seabreeze gradually develops over the mid to late morning hours and into each afternoon. Possible evening glass-off for some areas before dark. Chance of showers/thunderstorms in the PM.

Small short period wind waves from the east-northeast rising later in the next few days. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop, Increasing later. Moderate short period wind waves from the east-northeast falling later in the early part of next week. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop later.
Friday 03/28 – 2.1-2.4m – Head high to 1m overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast holding during the day. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop, Increasing later.
Saturday 03/29 – 2.8-3.1m – 1m overhead to double overhead – Moderate mid period swell from the east-northeast falling slightly during the day. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop all day.
